KJazz is throwing its first benefit concert at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on Friday, September 18th at 8pm.
Performing at the concert is Sasha’s Bloc with Special Guests, including GRAMMY nominated vocalist Jane Monheit and Take 6’s Alvin Chea. Sasha’s Bloc is a soulful jazz collective that hearkens back to the big band jazz sound of the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s, and to a performance style that evokes Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald and more.
